Lead Pricing

• If no leads are purchased – then no fees will be incurred. There are no monthly fees, and no fees to receive initial lead notifications.
• *Commission is payable based on the total cost of the move (excluding insurance costs, and excluding GST). A $10 min charge applies to commissions.
• **Last chance leads are leads that have not been purchased by any suppliers after 48 hours of being registered with Smartmove.
• All prices are shown in New Zealand (NZD) and exclude GST

Here’s an overview of how it all works

Step 1 – The sign up process

Firstly, you let us know the services you offer, and the geographical areas you cover. Then we will give you a call to confirm your details – and you are done!

From then – we will automatically email you ALL the leads that match your criteria, to whatever email address you give us. Each of these emails will contain the key summary information regarding the client’s move (including pickup and drop off locations, moving dates, cubic metreage, and outsize items).

Step 2 – Accepting a lead

In order to ensure that the customer gets a good deal AND you have a fair chance winning the business – a maximum of 4 moving companies will be able to accept a quote request.

You accept a quote request simply by clicking on the “I want to quote!” button in the initial lead email we send you. When you do this you will immediately get either:

(a) an email containing the full client contact details and detailed inventory of items being moved (in a PDF).

or…

(b) an email notifying you that “unfortunately this quote request has already been accepted by the maximum number of moving companies”.

Step 3 – Quoting, and Closing a sale

From this point on it is up to you as to how and when you contact the client and provide their quote. However it’s important to note that the client will generally be expecting contact within 1 business day (the faster you can quote, the better).

Step 4 – Billing

We will send you a weekly invoice for all the quote requests you have purchased, and any commission you may owe us for your reported “wins”. 

7 days after sending you this invoice - the amount will be debited from your account (via Direct Debit).

And if, for some reason, you want to change the type of leads you receive, or stop receiving quote requests, – just send us an email or give us a call. It’s that easy.

Step 5 – Confirming wins

2 days after the requested move date on each lead we send emails to:

(a) Suppliers – to confirm if they won the business (for commission calculations), and 

(b) Clients - to confirm:

• Which moving company they selected
• How they rated the service they received
• What the total cost of the move was (for commission calculations)
• Gathering this information allows us to ensure that clients are getting good service, and also ensures the commission calculation is accurate. It also means that (at no cost to you) from time to time we can provide you with an analysis of activity in your area.
