Smartmove Terms and Conditions

(1) General

Both Smartmove and “the Supplier” agree to work together to deliver moving quotations to clients in a professional and friendly manner to the mutual benefit of all parties involved.

(2) Pricing

Pricing for leads may vary from time to time. Pricing for all lead purchases (and for commission owed on any jobs won) will be shown in the initial lead email that is sent to registered suppliers (pre-purchase).


If “The Supplier” chooses to purchase the lead by clicking on the purchase link in the lead email, then either (a) or (b) will occur:

(a)“The Supplier” will receive a confirmation email from Smartmove containing the client quote request

(b)“The Supplier” will receive an email notification that the quote request has already been accepted by the maximum allowable number of moving companies. In this instance “the Supplier” will not be charged anything.


 Important things to note:

If no leads are purchased – then no fees will be incurred. There are no monthly fees, and no fees to receive notification that leads matching your criteria are available.

* Commission is payable based on the total cost of the move (excluding insurance costs, and excluding GST). A $10 min charge applies to commissions.

** Last chance leads are leads that have not been purchased by any suppliers after 48 hours of being registered with Smartmove.

All prices are shown in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and exclude GST

Prices are subject to change, but the pricing shown in the initial lead email (pre-purchase) is always what you will be charged.

(3) Payment Terms


(a)Smartmove will invoice “the Supplier” on a weekly basis via email.

(b)Payment will be debited from an authorised credit card (Visa / Mastercard), on a weekly basis. Details of this card will be obtained from you when you sign up. These details will be held securely by DPS Direct Payment Solutions, and used for billing purposes.

(c)If payment is unable to be taken from the nominated card – this may result in Smartmove suspending “the Supplier’s” involvement until payment in full is received.

(d)Repeated non payment may result in termination of the contract. “The Supplier” will be liable for any and all costs incurred in the process of recovering any outstanding debt. This will include, but not be limited to, any costs incurred by the appointed debt collection agency.

(4) Change of details

Any change of Company details (including email addresses and services offered by “the Supplier”) should be advised to Smartmove to admin@smartmove.co.nz

(5) Contract duration

This contract has no fixed duration, and is open ended.

(6) Contract variation

Smartmove reserves the right to vary the terms of this contract at any time. Any variation will be advised in writing 2 weeks in advance of any changes being effective.

(7) Termination

This agreement can be terminated by either party at any time upon receipt of written notification. Termination will then be effective within 7 days, or upon payment of any outstanding monies.

(8) Limitation of liability

“The Supplier” agrees to indemnify Smartmove in respect of any loss or liability that might be incurred as a result of any claim raised against it by a customer.
